The Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) is a specialized unit within the Solapur City Police, responsible for the prevention and neutralization of explosive threats. This unit plays a crucial role during VVIP/VIP visits and at large public gatherings by conducting anti-sabotage checks and ensuring safety in crowded or sensitive locations. बॉम्ब शोध व नाश पथक (BDDS) हे सोलापूर शहर पोलीस दलातील एक विशेष पथक आहे, जे स्फोटकांशी संबंधित धोके टाळणे आणि त्यांचे निष्प्रभिकरण करण्याचे कार्य करते. हे पथक व्हीव्हीआयपी/व्हीआयपी भेटींच्या वेळी तसेच मोठ्या सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रमांदरम्यान विध्वंसविरोधी तपासणी करून गर्दीच्या किंवा संवेदनशील ठिकाणी सुरक्षेची खात्री करते.

The BDDS team is equipped and trained to detect, defuse, and safely dispose of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), suspicious packages, and other hazardous materials. Their vigilance and expertise help prevent terrorist activities and maintain public safety across the city.
