Working of Special Branch विशेष शाखेचे कार्य

Special Branch is a very important wing of the Police Department. The Special Branch staff plays an important role in collecting advance intelligence about potential law and order matters as well as illegal activities. विशेष शाखा ही पोलीस विभागातील एक अतिशय महत्त्वाची शाखा आहे. विशेष शाखेतील कर्मचारी संभाव्य कायदा-सुव्यवस्थेच्या बाबी तसेच बेकायदेशीर कारवायांविषयी आगाऊ गुप्त माहिती गोळा करण्यात महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावतात.

This branch collects confidential information in advance regarding activities of various organizations, movements, and activities of various political parties. ही शाखा विविध संस्था, संघटना आणि राजकीय पक्षांच्या हालचाली व उपक्रमांबाबत आगाऊ गुप्त माहिती गोळा करते.

Passport Verification Department पासपोर्ट पडताळणी विभाग

1. The applications are initiated by the RPO (Regional Passport Office) to CP Office log. After that, they are verified by the local police station and the report is sent (entered) to the CP Office for further processing. The final report is submitted by this office to the RPO (Regional Passport Office). १. अर्जांची नोंद RPO (प्रादेशिक पासपोर्ट कार्यालय) कडून CP कार्यालयात केली जाते. त्यानंतर स्थानिक पोलीस ठाण्याद्वारे पडताळणी करून अहवाल CP कार्यालयात पाठवला जातो. अंतिम अहवाल या कार्यालयाकडून RPO कडे पाठविला जातो.

2. This office also conducts the verification process, as above, for the PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) applied on passportindia.gov.in. २. हे कार्यालय वरीलप्रमाणेच पडताळणी प्रक्रिया passportindia.gov.in वर अर्ज केलेल्या PCC (पोलीस क्लिअरन्स सर्टिफिकेट) साठीही करते.

3. This office also conducts the verification of NORI (No Obligation Return To India) applications received from the Department of Home Ministry, then the verification procedure is conducted similarly and the report sent offline to the Department of Home Ministry, Government of Maharashtra. At every stage of verification, the applicant receives system-generated SMS updates regarding the application status. ३. हे कार्यालय गृह मंत्रालयाकडून प्राप्त झालेल्या NORI (No Obligation Return To India) अर्जांची पडताळणी देखील करते. ही प्रक्रिया वरीलप्रमाणेच केली जाते आणि अहवाल गृह मंत्रालय, महाराष्ट्र शासनास ऑफलाइन पद्धतीने पाठविला जातो. पडताळणीच्या प्रत्येक टप्प्यावर अर्जदारास अर्जाच्या स्थितीबाबत सिस्टमद्वारे SMS सूचना पाठविली जाते.

Character Verification Information चरित्र पडताळणी माहिती

The Police Commissioner Office provides online character verification certificates to people who apply through www.pcs.mahaonline.gov.in, except for government jobs. पोलीस आयुक्त कार्यालय, सरकारी नोकऱ्या वगळता, www.pcs.mahaonline.gov.in द्वारे अर्ज केलेल्या नागरिकांना ऑनलाईन चरित्र पडताळणी प्रमाणपत्रे प्रदान करते.

Character Verification Certificate is issued for the following purposes: चरित्र पडताळणी प्रमाणपत्र खालील कारणांसाठी जारी केले जाते:

• Government Job/Proposal (Offline Process)
• सरकारी नोकरी/प्रस्ताव (ऑफलाइन प्रक्रिया)
• Semi-Government Employee (SGP)
• अर्ध-सरकारी कर्मचारी
• Private Sector Employee
• खाजगी क्षेत्रातील कर्मचारी
• Security Guard
• सुरक्षा रक्षक
• Legal Organ Donor/Receiver (Kidney, Liver, etc.)
• कायदेशीर अवयव दाता/स्वीकारकर्ता (मूत्रपिंड, यकृत इ.)
• Award Winner Person
• पुरस्कार विजेते व्यक्ती
• Non-Government Citizen Digital Service Providers
• बिगर सरकारी डिजिटल सेवा प्रदाते
• PCC (Police Clearance Certificate for Abroad) applied on pcs.mahaonline.gov.in for visa purposes only.
• परदेशातील व्हिसासाठी फक्त pcs.mahaonline.gov.in वर अर्ज केलेले PCC (पोलीस क्लिअरन्स सर्टिफिकेट).
