महाराष्ट्र लोकसेवा हक्क अधिनियम, २०१५ हा अधिनियम २८ एप्रिल २०१५ पासून लागू असून, शासनाच्या विविध विभागांमार्फत नागरिकांना सूचना केलेल्या सेवा पारदर्शक, जलद आणि ठराविक कालावधीत पुरविण्याचे उद्दिष्ट साध्य करतो. या अधिनियमाचे प्रमुख उद्दिष्ट म्हणजे नागरिकांना सुलभ, तत्पर आणि वेळेत सेवा मिळाव्यात याची खात्री करणे. The Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act, 2015 has been in force since 28.04.2015 to ensure that notified services are provided to citizens in a transparent, speedy, and time-bound manner by various Government Departments and Public Authorities under the Government. Its primary objective is to ensure the delivery of easy, prompt, and time-bound services to the citizens.

महाराष्ट्र राज्य लोकसेवा हक्क आयोग या अधिनियमांतर्गत स्थापन करण्यात आले असून, शासनाकडून पुरवल्या जाणाऱ्या सेवांचे नियंत्रण, समन्वय, निरीक्षण आणि सुधारणा करण्याचे कार्य करते. या आयोगामध्ये एक मुख्य आयुक्त आणि सहा आयुक्त आहेत. आयोगाचे मुख्यालय नवीन प्रशासकीय इमारत, मंत्रालयासमोर, मुंबई येथे आहे आणि सहा विभागीय आयुक्तांची कार्यालये राज्यातील सहा विभागीय मुख्यालयांवर आहेत. The Maharashtra State Commission for Right to Public Service has been constituted under the Act to monitor, coordinate, control, and improve the public services being provided by the Government. The Commission consists of a Chief Commissioner and six Commissioners. Its headquarters is located at the New Administrative Building, Opposite Mantralaya, Mumbai, and divisional offices of the Commissioners are situated at the six Divisional Headquarters across the state.

कोणतीही सूचना केलेली सेवा ठराविक कालावधीत पुरवली गेली नाही किंवा कारण न देता नाकारली गेली असल्यास, संबंधित व्यक्ती प्रथम व द्वितीय अपील उच्च अधिकाऱ्यांकडे करू शकते. जर त्यांचा निर्णय समाधानकारक नसेल, तर अर्जदार तृतीय अपील आयोगाकडे दाखल करू शकतो. दोषी अधिकारीस प्रत्येक प्रकरणात ₹५००० पर्यंत दंड ठोठावण्यात येऊ शकतो. या विभागाद्वारे दिल्या जाणाऱ्या सूचना केलेल्या सेवांची यादी संलग्न स्वरूपात दिली आहे. If any notified service is not provided to an eligible person within the stipulated time or is rejected without proper justification, the concerned person may file a First and Second Appeal with higher authorities. If unsatisfied with their decision, the applicant may prefer a Third Appeal to the Commission. The erring officer is liable for a penalty of up to ₹5000 per case. The notified services rendered by this department are as per the enclosed proforma.
